Motor sport Ambulance

We have just converted this new 4 x 4 Sprinter van into a motor sport ambulance 

First job was to line & insulate the van

Windows were fitted to both sides

and bespoke storage units were made to fulfil the customers needs

with a special pull out unit for emergency cutting gear

and a leisure battery was fitted under the front seat

and exterior, with emergency lighting fitted 

the lighting is controlled from a unit in the cab

Refurbished wheels with yellow brake callipers

have been Carbon dipped.

The seats have been recovered

 there are star lights in the ceiling,warm white front, blue rear...

and an in-car entertainment system.

The yellow van is nearly finished....

I will be posting the finished photos next week but the following pictures show different stages of the transformation - 

the interior was stripped out

This was then insulated on top of a sound deadening heat barrier and carpeted, as you can see speakers and power outlets have been fitted.

This is the reverse of the ceiling panel - you can see all the separate wires for the individual bulbs

The windows have been fitted

and the finishing touches are going on

The van is having an entertainment system fitted today and then the last improvements will be completed.

Our biggest project so far.....

This is a special build ELWB Mercedes Sprinter that we are about to start converting for a disabled customer.

 

as you can see it is a cavernous space...

 

 

.. it will eventually hold amongst other things - a double bed,

a toilet and shower,

a worktop with sink and hob,a fridge and a microwave.

 It will all be wheelchair accessible due to the fitment of a Cassette Wheelchair lift.

Update on transformation of T5

This is the latest picture of our customers T5

 

It used to look like this....

 

 

Quite a transformation I am sure you agree...

 

 

It has been painted Ferrari Galeao Yellow

and the wheels have been refurbished then painted metallic light grey.

 

Now we can start work on the interior....

the seats have been recovered and the bases refinished with sprayline..
